What we collect

When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. Sign in with Apple gives us your name and email address, or a private relay address if you tell Apple to hide your email. Everything else in your account is what you put there: your business details, customer records, job schedules, photos and files you attach to jobs, contracts, estimates, and invoices. That includes the access notes you keep on a customer, like a lockbox or alarm code. When a homeowner sends photos with a quote request, those photos are stored in your account too. We also record basic usage data (like landing page visits) to understand how the product is used.

Analytics on the website

The homeservicesit.com website uses Microsoft Clarity and Vercel Analytics to see how pages get used, which includes Clarity recording page interactions. Neither one runs in the HomeServicesIT app. Nothing you or your customers enter in the app is sent to either of them.

How we use it

Your data is used to run your account: showing your schedule, generating your invoices, and powering your customer portals. Your HomeServicesIT subscription is billed through Stripe, and emails you send from the app are delivered through Resend. We do not sell your personal data or your customers' personal data to anyone.

Card payments and Stripe

If you turn on card payments, you connect a Stripe account of your own through Stripe Connect. The details Stripe needs to verify you and pay you - your legal name, date of birth, Social Security or tax ID number, and bank account - are collected by Stripe on Stripe's own pages and sent directly to Stripe. We never see, receive, or store them. What we keep is your Stripe account identifier, whether Stripe says the account can accept payments and receive payouts, the country and currency it operates in, and anything Stripe has told us it still needs from you, so we can show you what's left to finish.

When your customer pays an invoice, their card details go straight from their browser to Stripe. Their card number never touches our servers and we never store it. We record that the invoice was paid, how much, and when. Stripe's own handling of this information is covered by the Stripe Privacy Policy and the Stripe Connected Account Agreement you accept during setup.

Customer portals

When you share a portal or a job view with your customer, that customer can see the service history, photos, and invoices you've chosen to share with them - nothing from any other customer or business.

Storage and security

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Cloud Storage) and encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted to your own signed-in account and the crew logins you create. Payment credentials are the exception to "we store it": card numbers and your banking and identity details live with Stripe, not with us.

Your choices

You can edit or delete your records at any time from inside the app. To delete the whole account, open Settings and use Delete account at the bottom of the Business tab. What that removes is spelled out on its own page. If you can't sign in, email pettigrewlabllc@gmail.com from the address on the account and we'll delete it for you. We may update this policy as the product changes; material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
